Blended Diamine Mixtures for Carbon Capture Human-made carbon dioxide emissions are a big reason for climate change. Blended diamines containing two amine groups have the potential to absorb more carbon dioxide (CO2) from flue gas generated during combustion. However, accurately modeling the thermodynamic performance of such systems is complex. This study reports on CO2 solubility in a blended diamine mixture containing aqueous aminoethylethanolamine and diethanolamine, which can help in capturing CO2. These findings hold the potential to substantially reduce the cost of carbon capture technologiesReference
