Chungbuk National University is committed to promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the exchange of medical research by developing world-class infrastructure and facilities. Chungbuk National University Hospital has invested significantly in clinical trial centers and has organized medical conferences to ensure support and advancement of the medical field.

 

GAESIN MEDICAL CONFERENCE BY CHUNGBUK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Established in 1994, the Chungbuk National University Medical Research Institute conducts medical research. It has been hosting the Gaesin Medical Conference since 1998. In response to recent changes in medical research, the Medical Research Institute has evolved the Gaesin Medical Conference into a dynamic platform, facilitating the exchange of diverse research activities.

OSONG CLINICAL TRIAL CENTER

On September 5, 2023, the Osong Clinical Trial Center was officially inaugurated with over 100 dignitaries in attendance, including representatives from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korea Food and Drug Administration, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Chungbuk Provincial Government, Chungbuk Council, Cheongju City, Chungbuk National University, and Chungbuk National University Hospital.

The Clinical Trial Center will provide tailored services and assistance across the entire clinical trial process, allowing hospitals, universities, and research institutes at Osong Advanced Complex, and companies to conduct early clinical trials and further advance the development of new drugs and medical devices.
