Educational Objectives

Students are taught to first understand better their own life and seek ways to apply what they learned to society to contribute to an establishment of a philosophical and ideological system that is appropriate for the times. Critical intellectuals with free-flowing imagination, a strong sense of ethics and a pursuit of peace and a willingness to act on what was learned are the qualities that the department seeks to instill within its students.

Educational Contents

The curriculum overviews the major trends in history from ancient times to modern times, the East to the West and studies the themes related to existence and values, logic, perception and practice.
