Introduction

Since its establishment in 1979, the Department of Education has made a significant contribution in the development of Chungbuk education. The department provides students with an insight into education and the ability to deal with educational phenomena or practice efficiently and rationally through academic approaches (philosophy, sociology, psychology, and etc.).

Graduates can enter Graduate School (education and philosophy, educational psychology and counseling, curriculum, educational method, educational technology, educational sociology and social education major), or the Graduate School of Education (educational administration, school counseling, and education major). They can pursue an education major or double majors to become teachers. This unique characteristic of the department emphasizes the academic climate and inquiry spirit, and emphasizes the sense of engagement and participation among the professors and students.
