School of Mechanical Engineering

Introduction

The School of Mechanical Engineering aims to cultivate the expertise required for energy-efficient design of various machines in a eco-friendly era. The curriculum is composed of the fundamental category such as engineering mathematics, solid mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, dynamics, manufacturing processes, and the advanced category including machine design, mechanical vibration, automatic control, mechatronics, heat transfer, fluid machinery, mechanical measurements, and the applied category such as automobile engineering, robot design, rapid production system, precision manufacturing, and computational thermal-fluid engineering.

Furhermore, the School offers customized courses such as creative engineering design and internship to broaden the students' comprehensive design ability and industrial experiences. In addition, the School operates the accreditation program of mechanical engineering to enhance the quality of education and also co-operates industry tracks with Bosch Electrical Drives Co. and Korea Gas Corporation to enhance job opportunity.
