Urban engineering is a discipline aimed at improving the urban environment, which is the center of modern life through planned development and management. In modern cities, there are various problems related to population, land, environment and social pathology. Therefore, it is necessary to identify various problems of the city and to find solutions. For this, the Department of Urban Engineering is studying seven areas: urban planning, transportation planning and design, urban system engineering, urban networks, urban design, urban space and environment, spatial quantitative analysis. The Department of Urban Engineering has established a multi-disciplinary education system based on diverse fields ranging from sociology and economics to construction-related fields such as architecture and civil engineering.
