Introduction

Department of Architecture, Chungbuk National University was established in 2002 (shifted from Department of Architectural Engineering established in 1978) with emphasis on educating and training future architects with both artistic and technical visions and capabilities. The program has bee officially accredited by Korean Architectural Accrediting Board(KAAB) in 2012. The primary objective of the school's curriculum is to provide comprehensive courses of design, history, and theory for students to become practice-oriented and creative professionals.
